NAMI CARE is a support group for individuals facing the challenges of recovering from severe and persistent mental illness. Depression, Manic Depression, Schizophrenia, and general anxiety disorder are only a few of the diagnoses of individuals who have found a supportive place within NAMI CARE.

Our Mission
We are a fellowship of individuals who share a common goal of recovery and the ability to maintain mental and emotional stability. We help others and ourselves through sharing our experiences, strength and hope with each other. No matter how traumatic our past or how despairing our present may be, there is hope for a new day with
NAMI CARE.

For more information about NAMI CARE please call 610-882-2102 and leave a message or e-mail.

NAMI Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley is the leading valley wide membership organization comprised of families, friends, professionals, and people with brain disorders (mental illness). We are dedicated to improving the lives of people who must cope with this devastating brain disorder. Founded in 1983 by a small group of family members, NAMI PA Lehigh Valley continues to grow and network in our community.

Family members or persons with a serious brain disorder not only endure the initial shock of the illness, but then must face a challenging future learning to cope with the responsibility of caring for an ill relative.

The false information and stigma that surround brain disorders keeps many families from seeking the help, support, and information that they desperately need.

If you feel alone because of a serious mental illness in your family, NAMI can help. Members of Lehigh Valley have had similar experiences. You will find reassuring support and understanding, as well as receive education about brain disorders, available treatments, and coping skills.

Free Education courses offered are:

Family to Family

Family Education Course
Hand to Hand

Young Family Education Course
